The foundation in 100 words

PET Scanners help detect cancer early and save lives, but there simply aren't enough of them in Australia. When Mark Gasnier's father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer, Mark watched him travel great distances for his scans and decided to do something about it. The Foundation's first goal is to put a scanner in St George Hospital, Sydney. It will be the only scanner in NSW south of Sydney Airport. Read more
